How often have we heard outsiders tell us that the biggest problem in West Alabama and East Mississippi is lack of leadership. Of course, what they are really saying is not that we don't have leaders, but that ours aren't smart enough or strong enough to get the right things done.

Eight community and junior colleges in West Alabama and East Mississippi have joined together to get people to think differently about our region
