Armistead leads way

Shawnese Armistead got hot at just the right time for the Wallace Community College-Selma women Saturday night.

The guard scored 16 of her game-high 27 points in the final eight minutes and led the Patriots to an 88-79 win over Lawson State Community College. Keshara Moore scored 16 points, and Sivon Pugh scored 14 for Wallace.
