1. Apply for Admission
  2. The student will need to create a FSA-ID. The FSA-ID has replaced the Federal Student Aid PIN.
  3. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
    • Assistance in filling out the application will be provided if needed.
    • The PRIORITY filing date is May 1 for maximum consideration, but all applications will be considered.
    • Federal School Code: 009980
  4. File your FAFSA using any of the following methods:
    • Mail the FAFSA to the Federal Processor in the envelope provided. (6 weeks to process)
    • Electronically through FAFSA on the web at www.fafsa.ed.gov (1 week to process)
    • Electronically through the WCCS Financial Aid Office. (1 week to process)
  5. Timely submit any other requested information such as tax return transcripts, W-2′s, and verification documents. Your file must be complete before an award estimate can be sent to you.
  6. After all required documentation is received and your file is complete, an award letter will be generated and sent to you. The award will detail the maximum amounts of federal, state, and institutional aid for which you are eligible at WCCS. All awards are based on attendance at WCCS and are NOT transferable.
